I bought a house around week 4 and my studying was uneven around then but I did a four+ month hardcore study through the material (essentially restarting the course), sometimes doing two weeks at once and it worked very well. I did my Masters degree online and being able to pause and chew on topics as it goes helps a lot. Thermo was something I had not touched in 7 years and by the end I felt very confident in any problem I came across. The practice problems were all more challenging then the exam which helped me get comfortable with solving problems and time constraints.
The time spent on each topic was great. Initially I had some major concerns with how little it appeared that we would be spending on some topics and how many weeks were spent on others, but at the end it worked out really well. I recommend printing out all the materials and take notes on all the slides and do the practice problems on the bottom of the problem slides so when you go back through it’s easy to find your previous work to check answers quickly. I went through all Dr. Toms problems at least 3 times during the course. I did a mid-course review of the first 10 chapters, doing all the problems again and then did a whole course review at the end – very helpful.
