For those of you lucky enough to drive between the futuristic cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, you’re in for a treat if you need to refuel, eat some food, or de-stress. A Mad Max themed rest area, known as “Last Exit” is a great option with food trucks, a gas station, paintball, a smash room (for a visual, picture smashing electronic devices like in the 1999 movie “Office Space”), electric vehicle chargers, and more. The options were terrific and the gas-pedal operated bathroom sinks were a fun surprise! – Daniel Findley, DTC Engineering Economics Instructor
