The Jugaad – Ingenuity on Parade

The jugaad is a type of tractor, typically used for agricultural purposes in the Indian state of Rajasthan, that’s made from various components (jeep, water pump, tractor, and others parts). It’s ubiquitous in many communities in Rajasthan and is a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of the designers, mechanics, and operators. The exposed mechanical components make repairs relatively easy and quick compared to other equipment with more electrical parts and systems.
